DPM Shrestha off to Japan today(Kantipur nepal)

JAN 16 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha on Monday left for Japan for medical treatment.He has been suffering from cervical myelopathy caused by cervical canal stenosis and instability.He will undergo “cervical decompression and stabilisation” surgery at Hokkiado University Hospital on Thursday.According to the sources, Nepali doctors had advised Shrestha to have check-up at the Japanese hospital. Nepali Ambassador to China Mahesh Maskey, who is also a medical doctor by profession, will join Shrestha in Japan.
